Sunday night's Golden Globes award event was the hottest ticket in town. Besides the awards, the fashion worn on the red carpet was the big story. Meet the man who's shoes were gliding all over the red carpet Sunday night-Brian Atwood. Megan Fox, Anne Hathaway, Mandy Moore, and Carrie Underwood (among others) wore Brian Atwood shoes Sunday night. In a Christian Louboutain crazed world, Brian Atwood has managed to catapult his shoe line straight to the top, seemingly overnight...
Megan Fox in Brian Atwood shoes at the 2011 Golden Globes
Brian Atwood was born in Chicago were he attended college and studied Art & Architecture then continued his studies at FIT in New York. After graduating Brian modeled for some of the world's biggest designers for 7 years. His years of modeling introduced him to fashion's elite and lead to his first design job for Gianni Versace. Brian was able to showcase his talent and won awards for shoes he created for the house. In 2001, he launched his own label, Brian Atwood Shoes. His unique shoes soon started appearing on celebrities such as Victoria Beckham, Eva Longoria, and Rhianna.
In the last year Brian Atwood's label has emerged with a modern feminine flair that is irresistible to the fashionable woman . His shoes were chosen for placement for the film "Sex & the City" and 30 pairs were also created and worn by the cast for the film's promotional tour. That placed Brian Atwood on the list of the shoe greats, Manolo Blahnik and Christian Louboutain. Immediately his line sold-out in stores and on websites. His new and upcoming Spring/Summer 2011 line is full if femininity, colors, and sophistication most of all its a fresh new look! Brian continues to evolve leaving us to indulge in his shoe creations. Here is a look at some of my favorite looks from the upcoming season.
